Prestige Group Buys 65 Acres in Hyderabad for ₹20,400 Crore Housing Projects

Prestige Estates Projects Ltd, one of India’s leading real estate developers, has set its sights firmly on Hyderabad’s booming property market. In the first quarter of FY26, the Bengaluru-based company acquired a total of 102 acres of prime land across India — with Hyderabad grabbing the lion’s share at 65 acres.

The acquisitions include:

• 28 acres in Tellapur — a fast-growing residential hub in the city’s western corridor.
• 37 acres in Pulimamidi — strategically located with future infrastructure growth potential.

Alongside Hyderabad, Prestige also secured parcels in Bengaluru (27 acres), Chennai (3.48 acres in Velachery), and Mumbai (6.3 acres).

₹20,400 Crore Worth of Homes in the Pipeline

According to the company, these newly acquired lands will fuel housing developments worth over ₹20,400 crore in gross development value (GDV). For Hyderabad, this means a fresh wave of premium and mid-segment housing projects catering to the city’s growing demand for modern, well-connected living spaces.

Strong Q1 Performance

Prestige Group’s expansion drive comes on the back of a robust April–June quarter:

• Net profit: ₹292.5 crore (up 26% YoY)
• Total income: ₹2,468.7 crore (up from ₹2,024.5 crore last year)
• Sales bookings: ₹12,126.4 crore — a fourfold jump, driven heavily by strong residential demand.

The company has set an ambitious ₹27,000 crore sales booking target for the current financial year.

Hyderabad’s Real Estate Boom Continues

With Tellapur and Pulimamidi seeing rapid infrastructure and connectivity upgrades, Prestige’s entry is expected to push up the profile — and possibly the prices — of these micro-markets. For homebuyers and investors, this could be a sign to watch these areas closely.
